Alireza has over 12 years of experience in the field of Construction Engineering and Management. He is a licensed professional engineer and holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University. His specialty is to plan and design, and execute critical construction operations for Heavy Civil and Infrastructure construction projects at all pursuit, pre-construction and operation stages. His work examples include resolving temporary structure problems such as trestle and cofferdams, reviewing construction feasibility prior to the operation, planning critical lifts, performing crane analysis and guiding project team during the lift, designing pile driving installation methods etc. He currently works for Kokosing Construction (general contractor) overseeing the construction engineering group for Mid-Atlantic Region. The portfolio of projects he is working on include a variety of Heavy Civil projects such as bridge, highway, and marine construction projects ranging from $5M to $450M. Previously, he has experience of working for large US general contractors on a number of challenging signature bridge construction projects in the east coast.
